Alexa Bliss Reveals Hidden Bray Wyatt Tribute Worn in Every WWE Match as Her Prized Possession

Published:

Alexa Bliss remains deeply connected to Bray Wyatt within the WWE Universe, especially as she navigates her wrestling career after Wyatt’s untimely passing. Wyatt died tragically during Bliss’s hiatus, shortly before she became a mother, leaving a lasting impact on her life and work. Bliss recently shared insights into a particular talent she inherited from the late third-generation legend and how she preserves his memory in a unique and personal way.

During a recent appearance on The Nikki & Brie Show’s episode titled Dropkicks and Diaper Bags, Bliss reconnected with The Bella Twins. Although Bliss has never squared off with Brie Bella, she has competed in nearly 30 matches alongside Nikki Bella, once teaming with her at SummerSlam 2016. Nikki Bella holds the edge in their singles encounters, winning a match on SmackDown in October 2016 by disqualification.

Learning Deep Character Work From Bray Wyatt

While discussing her current WWE persona, Bliss credited Bray Wyatt—known personally as Windham—for teaching her about developing a layered character. Wyatt introduced her to

“the inner world of The Wyatts,”

a creative process that involved immersing herself in documentaries and films to enhance her performance.

Bliss explained that everything her character has done since collaborating with The Fiend was intentional and well thought out, increasing her enjoyment and engagement. She emphasized that her ongoing character work involves extensive research, watching movies, and acting lessons with her coach Nacho, whom she started training with in late 2020. This methodical approach brings depth to her WWE role and honors the creative philosophy Wyatt instilled.

Bliss Shares a Special Tribute Hidden in Her Ring Gear

On The Nikki & Brie Show, Alexa Bliss opened up about her relationship with Windham Rotunda and how she keeps his spirit alive in her wrestling career. After explaining the detailed character work she learned from Wyatt, Brie Bella praised Bliss for keeping his legacy present.

“I love that it does feel like we all still get that spirit of Bray Wyatt, and so I love that, it’s just there’s… you know, because losing him was so hard, and it was so sad, but I love how you still bring his spirit to the stage. You can feel it, and it’s so great,” Brie said.

Responding to Brie’s comments, Bliss revealed she incorporates part of The Fiend’s attire into her ring skirt, serving as a subtle but powerful tribute. She also showed The Bella Twins a bracelet made from fabrics connected to Bray Wyatt’s gear, which several WWE wrestlers use to honor him consistently.

“Thank you, thank you. That’s one of the things I try to always keep a part of it with me… and actually, I have a piece of his gear on my skirt. My skirt has a patch of his gear, and then we all have… I’ll grab it, one second. [shows bracelet] We all have these bracelets with his gear on it, and so this is the gear that’s also on my skirt, and you know, it’s how we do… how we… respect Windham’s vision and keep his memory alive without making it a tribute, making it more of like, ‘This is Alexa now, and this is part of her past that’s always going to be with her.’ But yeah, it’s one of my little prized possessions, this [shows bracelet],” Alex Bliss said.

Bliss’s approach reflects a balance between honoring Wyatt’s creative influence and continuing to build her own identity as a performer, holding the past as an integral piece of her present.
