Country singer Ashley Cooke experienced an extraordinary evening at Madison Square Garden on November 17, where WWE Raw was being held. This marked a special occasion for Cooke as she not only enjoyed the live event but also met prominent WWE personalities such as John Cena, Maxxine Dupri, and WWE Chief Content Officer Paul Levesque, better known as Triple H, backstage.
During a conversation with WrestleZone’s Ella Jay, Cooke shared her impression of meeting Triple H, who went on to promote her latest album, ace, on social media following the event.
Oh, he’s so cool. He’s so real,
she said.
“We sat and walked around the arena just talking about music and our mutual friends and all of what he’s built. It was just really cool. Again, it felt like I had known these people for a lot longer than I had. I met them for a night, and it felt like I was a part of the family in every way. He was so supportive and asking about my music and my career and kind of how I got to where I am. It was cool to get to talk to him.”
Cooke also spoke about her surprise at how approachable and kind the wrestlers were, despite their imposing in-ring personas.
I feel like these big dudes that are in the ring when they get talking to you and they’re like, ‘How are you? How’s your life?’ I’m like, ‘You’re so nice.’ You would never expect it, but they’re so kind. It was just a really, really cool experience.
Before Raw went live, Cooke performed a powerful rendition of “God Bless America” for the more than 18,000 fans attending at MSG. Triple H acknowledged her performance and the significance of her debut at the arena through his social media post, highlighting Cooke’s first time singing at the iconic venue.

Experiencing WWE Raw: A First-Time Fan’s Perspective
Though relatively new to WWE, Ashley Cooke found herself captivated by the spectacle and depth of the entertainment presented at WWE Raw in Madison Square Garden. The event was her first live wrestling show, and she embraced every moment of the experience, both inside the arena and behind the scenes.
Before the match, I got to walk around and look at everything going on. It was cool to just see how they prepare for the night,
Cooke explained.
“There was just a lot of really cool behind-the-scenes stuff that I got to see before I even saw the real show happen. It was special. And that was so cool, just to see the acting skills that they have too is so impressive.”
She was also struck by the audience’s engagement and how deeply invested the crowd was in every move and word.
I mean, the whole crowd, they’re roaring and every word that they say, they’re hanging on to. It was just really, really cool to see such a different facet of entertainment than what I’m used to witnessing, seeing. It was special, and I felt like it was a moment that I got to be a part of that I will never forget.
