Former WWE Champ Delivers Bold Warning to Becky Lynch After Defense

Published:

Becky Lynch has been challenged publicly by a fellow WWE Superstar following her recent successful Becky Lynch WWE championship defense. Currently holding the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, Lynch defended her title at SummerSlam and then twice more on RAW in recent weeks. This week, she secured another victory by submitting Natalya, extending her winning streak.

Despite Lynch’s desire to face Natalya’s alternate persona known as Nattie, fans only witnessed Natalya in their latest encounter. Lynch had tweeted that she wanted to face Nattie, the more aggressive and intense version Natalya portrays outside WWE. However, the former SmackDown Women’s Champion made it clear in an appearance on the Busted Open Podcast that Lynch does not control when Nattie appears.

Natalya’s Assertive Response to Lynch’s Challenge

Speaking candidly on the podcast, Natalya emphasized that the timing of Nattie’s arrival is not Lynch’s decision.

“Becky Lynch doesn’t get to decide when she gets Nattie. Becky Lynch does not get to dictate when she gets Nattie. And so Becky, of course, thought she was really clever when she put out a little tweet saying like, ‘I don’t want a Natalya. I’m sick of Natalya. I want Nattie.’ Well, Becky, in all honesty, you don’t get to decide when Nattie comes to play,”

she asserted.

Nattie is a persona known for its more physical and aggressive style, showcased in various matches outside WWE such as Bloodsport and AAA. Natalya’s comments made it clear that Lynch can provoke wrestlers, but not when Nattie chooses to show up in the ring.

“You can be a bully to Maxxine. You can be a bully to Nikki Bella. And you can be a bully to Natalya, but you do not get to decide when Nattie gets to come and play. Nattie will fu**ing decide that,”

Natalya added, making her warning unmistakably clear.

Conflict Escalates on RAW Between Lynch, Bella, and Dupri

The tension extended beyond Natalya after Lynch’s victory on RAW. Following the submission win using her Dis-Arm-Her hold on Natalya, Lynch targeted Maxxine Dupri, escalating hostilities. However, this aggression was interrupted by Nikki Bella’s sudden arrival at the ring.

The confrontation quickly turned physical, with the two exchanging strikes until Nikki Bella gained the advantage by executing her Rack Attack 2.0 move on Lynch. Their heated promo exchange from weeks prior appears to be building toward more intense interactions, suggesting ongoing rivalries and potential future matches.

As Becky Lynch continues to defend the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, these escalating tensions with Natalya, Nikki Bella, and Maxxine Dupri indicate that her reign will face significant challenges ahead. The unpredictability surrounding Nattie’s potential involvement adds a further layer of intensity to Lynch’s title defenses and storylines within WWE.
