Bobby Lashley Injury Update: “I’m Healed, Not Hurt”

Bobby Lashley has announced that he is no longer injured and is ready to return. After MVP revealed Lashley’s injury on the December 13 episode of AEW Collision, Lashley spoke to Monopoly Sports to clarify his condition, stating he is fully healed despite earlier assumptions.

Plans for Future AEW Competition

In his discussion, Lashley emphasized the group dynamics within his faction, expressing hopes to compete alongside Shelton and MVP in the trios division. He highlighted the group’s camaraderie and drive to recapture former successes by targeting the AEW National Championship and other titles. Lashley said,

“When we get back, between Shelton and MVP, we want to do things collectively and want to do things as a group. I think we’re going to go after the trios guys. Let’s see what we can do with those guys. That’s what we need. The crowd loves us over there. We have the opportunity to bring back what we had before and it’s real. We have a great group and we’re all friends and pull for each other. Anytime one of us is done, the other pulls them up. Right now, they are pulling me up and yanking me back in. ‘We’re ready go back out there and win some titles.’ I am healed. Everybody thought I was hurt. I’m not hurt. You can’t hurt the Almighty,”

he said.

Recent Activity and Unknown Return Date

Lashley has not appeared in competition since AEW Full Gear, where he participated in the Casino Gauntlet match to crown the inaugural AEW National Champion. Although Lashley is healed, no official date has been announced for his return to television or live events as the group prepares for future challenges.

Context Around Wrestling Events and Participants

The wrestling community continues to evolve with recent updates like Ricky Sosa’s withdrawal from wXw’s 16 Carat Gold Tournament due to a last-minute career opportunity, and upcoming matches such as Arianna Grace defending the Knockouts World Title against Jody Threat on March 5. Bobby Lashley’s recovery brings renewed enthusiasm to his faction and AEW programming. His return could bolster the trios division’s competitiveness and reinvigorate narratives involving titles and rivalries. Fans eager to see “The Almighty” back in action can expect his group’s collaborative efforts to shape upcoming matches and storylines, potentially leading to championship pursuits and memorable moments in AEW’s schedule.
