Adam Scherr, better known as Braun Strowman, recently shared an important update on his wrist injury, revealing that surgery is no longer necessary and his wrist will heal on its own. This news follows his earlier announcement indicating he needed an operation after suffering a broken wrist.
The 42-year-old wrestler, who was released from WWE for the second time earlier this year, has taken a step back from wrestling activities to focus on other ventures. Despite his free agent status, fans have been closely following developments regarding his injury and career status.
Wrist Injury Will Heal Without Surgical Intervention
A few days prior, Strowman had posted an X-ray showing a broken wrist and mentioned he would have to undergo surgery. However, after consulting with his doctor, he was informed that operating on the wrist would not be advisable due to the bones being deformed from multiple previous breaks. His doctor explained that surgery would not improve the wrist’s appearance or function significantly.
Strowman offered a candid explanation about his condition, saying,
“All right. Update on this guy, I don’t have to have surgery, that’s great. The doc got in and looked at my X-rays and stuff, and since it’s been broken multiple times, and the bones are already crooked. He figured surgery would not be a good option, because my hand’s gonna be ugly regardless, and the only reason I have surgery is to try and make my knuckles pretty, and well, my hand’s been ugly for a long time from passing these bad boys out. So we’re just gonna be in a cast for a little bit. Back to work,”

Strowman’s Career and WWE Release Context
Following his departure from WWE, Strowman has remained visible in the wrestling community, prominently appearing in Netflix‘s docuseries Unreal and participating in various promotional events. Despite his absence from the wrestling ring, he is still actively engaging with fans.
The reasoning behind his release has been questioned by fans, with some asking WWE executive Triple H why Strowman’s image continues to be used despite him no longer being under contract. In response, Strowman expressed frustration and bluntly stated,
“Cause someone made a stupid business decision!!!!”

Reports suggested Strowman’s release was primarily a business decision due to his high salary, which WWE officials felt was not justified given his current usage on the roster. Whether he will make a return to WWE remains uncertain, leaving fans to wonder what lies ahead for the former Monster of All Monsters.
