Brian Cage Shares Shocking Knee Replacement After Quad Surgery—Already Back in Gym Training

Published:

Brian Cage, recognized in the wrestling world as both “The Machine” and “The Swolverine,” has unveiled his recent journey through intense physical challenges, centering on his knee replacement and quad surgery recovery. The AEW star revealed he had a knee replacement just four days ago, only eight weeks after having surgery to repair his torn quad tendon.

Rapid Recovery and Return to the Gym

Cage, sidelined from competition after tearing his quad, surprised fans by showing himself already lifting weights at Project Wellbeing’s gym only days post-surgery. Sharing updates with his followers, he openly discussed the hardship he’s faced due to years of knee pain, explaining that his initial plan was to get surgery following AEW’s All In event. But after suffering his quad injury, Cage decided to confront both injuries together for a complete recovery.

“4 days post knee replacement (8 weeks post quad tendon repair) and I’m already back in the gym @projectwellbeingllc… Love me, hate me, or somewhere in-between, you can’t deny I’m a f**ing machine!”

Determination Despite Physical Setbacks

This two-part surgery process was not an easy decision for Cage, who emphasized the brutality of dealing with such injuries. He conveyed his determination and fighting spirit through social media:

“I’ve been dealing with excessive knee pain for years… With the unfortunate set back of tearing my quad, I figured F it, let’s just get ‘em both done. Not an easy or fun choice, but I’m gonna come back ripping heads off. Especially if this is me right now after surgery.”

Cage also acknowledged the help from WWE’s Ricochet, who assisted with filming his workout and participated in his rehabilitation training. He also promoted his sponsors, keeping his #gmsi (Get My S*** In) attitude front and center.

What Lies Ahead for Brian Cage

Though there is no set timetable for his in-ring return, Brian Cage’s rapid early recovery and persistence in training highlight his resilience, admired by both AEW and WWE followers. As fans follow his progress after knee replacement and quad surgery recovery, expectations are high that Cage will return to wrestling with renewed intensity, determined to reclaim his place in the ring.
