Dr. Britt Baker has not appeared on AEW television since November of last year, marking a significant break from wrestling. Her last in-ring action was a singles contest against Penelope Ford on an episode of Dynamite. During her time away from AEW, Baker has remained active on social media and has concentrated on her dental career, maintaining a strong presence outside the ring.
Recently, a fan created an Instagram reel highlighting Baker’s dual achievements as a professional wrestler and dentist. The fan’s detailed tribute caught Baker’s attention and compelled her to respond through Instagram Stories. She shared the fan-made video and expressed that although she rarely posts wrestling-related content, she appreciated the fan’s effort greatly.
“Now I don’t really post much wrestling related stuff here but this dawg put a lot of time and effort into gassing me up so lemme share lol,” Baker wrote.
This interaction is notable as Baker seldom shares posts connected to wrestling, underlining her selective engagement with wrestling topics while inactive on AEW programming.
Speculations Grow Over Britt Baker’s Potential WWE Move
The ongoing absence of Britt Baker from AEW has fueled rumors regarding her possible future in WWE. Many fans wonder if she might transition to WWE in the near future, a scenario supported by voices within wrestling circles. Veteran wrestler Dutch Mantell shared his perspective on the situation during a Sportskeeda podcast called The Wrestling Time Machine.
Mantell suggested that a move to WWE could be beneficial for Baker, comparing her potential transition to the career paths of established stars like Edge and Christian. He noted that these wrestlers shifted to WWE after aging in other promotions, hinting that Baker could follow a similar route before her AEW tenure ends.
“Oh, I’m sure it would be. And it’s like anything else when the old guard, say, Edge and Christian. When they got old in WWE, they jumped over. Now, before they can get old in AEW, they want to go to WWE, which is fine. Let them go over there and see what WWE can do with them. And then I think the door will always be open to even go back unless she’s made some people,” Mantell said.
Whether Britt Baker will make such a move remains uncertain, leaving fans to observe how her wrestling career and AEW association develop in the coming months.
