The wrestling-themed movie ‘Street Fighter’ completed filming in November 2025 and is scheduled for release on October 16, 2026. The cast features a strong lineup of wrestling stars, including Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and Hirooki Goto, bringing together notable talents from the wrestling world for this action-packed film.
Cody Rhodes Shares Insights About the Set Experience
In a recent interview with Mostly Sports, Cody Rhodes disclosed that despite being part of the same project, he and Roman Reigns never encountered each other on set. Rhodes complimented Reigns on his work and described the intense training the cast underwent, which aimed to prepare them as though they were entering a real fight. This included 50 Cent training as the character Balrog and comedian Andrew Schulz practicing how to fall safely for fight scenes involving Dan.
“You know what’s so funny, we never crossed paths on set. I think he did a phenomenal job. I saw he was doing his stunt training cause they were training us as if we were going into a real fight. 50 Cent was boxing every morning, he’s Balrog. Andrew Schulz was basically just learning how to fall cause Dan gets punched a lot. They’ve done something special with that movie, I’m so excited for people to see it.”
