Former WWE NXT competitor Elayna Black, once known by her ring name Cora Jade, has found remarkable financial success after stepping away from professional wrestling earlier this year. Reports suggest that Black’s income from OnlyFans has surged significantly, surpassing that of any other female wrestler globally in recent months.
Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer highlighted this unprecedented financial achievement, noting that Black may have earned more in a single month through the subscription service than all other female wrestlers combined.
“She has probably made more money last month than any woman pro wrestler in the world…”
“I know she was talking to somebody who I know,”
Meltzer remarked.
“And… she has probably made more money last month than any woman pro wrestler in the world, probably by a lot, because of OnlyFans.”
Following in Mandy Rose’s Footsteps
Meltzer compared Black’s financial rise on OnlyFans to the path taken by Mandy Rose, who transformed her WWE departure into a lucrative venture on the platform. Both have successfully capitalized on their wrestling fame and public image to create prosperous careers outside the ring.
Meltzer described Mandy Rose as setting the standard for such career shifts and emphasized the potential for others with the right appeal to replicate the success.
“Mandy Rose set the template,”
he explained.
“And you know, if you’ve got the right look, you can do OnlyFans coming off of a WWE run… I mean, Mandy Rose is incredibly rich from that… and it’s the new thing, and more people are going to do it.”
Why Independent Wrestling Offers Less Financial Appeal
The disparity between income from OnlyFans and the traditional independent wrestling circuit has become increasingly clear. Meltzer pointed out the contradictions of pursuing demanding indie dates when the financial rewards from content platforms are far greater.
“Think about this. You want to do these indie dates for $1,000 when you’re making the kind of money that she’s making?”
he questioned.
“It basically makes no sense at all… flying in, the stress, taking bumps—or sitting around, and the money rolls in.”
Despite the unpredictable nature of earnings from subscription content, Meltzer stated that Black’s current choice is understandable given the level of income she is achieving.

“She may come back, but… right now for her, I mean, she’s just making an incredible, incredible amount of money. I mean, it’s ridiculous, so good for her.”
Black’s Intentional Pause from Wrestling
At 24 years old, Elayna Black announced in June that she would be taking an indefinite break from wrestling after her WWE release in May 2025. She cited mental health concerns as the primary reason and expressed her intention to focus on self-care through the remainder of the year.
“taking a break from wrestling for the foreseeable future”
“take care of me and go from there”
Her withdrawal reflects a growing awareness among wrestlers of the physical and mental demands in the industry, with alternative career opportunities like OnlyFans providing viable financial support. Updates on Black’s future plans, whether inside or outside the ring, will continue to draw attention.
