Following the betrayal, Damian Priest expressed his reaction on X with a brief three-word message. His post reminded fans of a similar event at SummerSlam 2024, when Balor betrayed Priest and expelled him from The Judgment Day faction.

Priest’s comment did not go unnoticed by McDonagh, who responded with sarcasm telling Priest to ask Edge how betrayal felt, referencing Priest’s own role in removing Edge from Judgment Day. This exchange led Mysterio to take a pointed jab at Edge by addressing him with his real name, Adam Copeland, the same name Copeland uses in AEW.

“Judgment Day, they really helped me out,” said Mysterio. “My confidence, my in-ring presence, they put me in a position to do my best. Finn and Damian are incredible in matches, the way they put together matches. Finn is amazing at that. It comes so naturally to him. Damian gives me advice, too, the type where he says to do something in a match and it turns out incredibly. I’d get all the credit, but it was all his idea.”

Currently, The Judgment Day consists of five members, including Roxanne Perez, who is sidelined with an injury. The group continues to remain a prominent faction within WWE as storylines evolve.
