Eddie Kingston Makes Surprise Indie Return at Beyond Wrestling

Published:

AEW star Eddie Kingston, recently recovered from a serious injury, is set to make his Eddie Kingston indie return at Beyond Wrestling’s Novembercanrana event on Friday, November 14, in Cranston, Rhode Island. This marks his first independent match since early 2024, signaling an important comeback for the wrestler outside of AEW.

The event will take place at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet, a well-known venue in Cranston, and will also be streamed live on IndependentWrestling.TV for fans unable to attend in person. Other wrestlers confirmed to compete include Donovan Dijak, Shotzi Blackheart, Bear Bronson, and Mads Krule Krugger. Kingston’s opponent for the night has not yet been announced.

Injury Recovery and Recent AEW Return

In May 2024, Kingston suffered a broken leg and a torn ACL that required a lengthy physical and mental recovery process. Last weekend, he made a victorious return to the Ring at AEW All Out, defeating Big Bill in a high-profile match. Since returning, Kingston has also formed a new alliance with fellow AEW star Hook, strengthening his position within the promotion.

This upcoming match will be Kingston’s first independent competition since 2022, when he last fought for Beyond Wrestling. The Novembercanrana show serves as the fall edition of Beyond’s Americanrana event, which is recognized as the promotion’s biggest annual show, usually held in late August.

Significance of Kingston’s Return to the Indie Scene

Kingston’s participation in this event highlights his reemergence on the independent wrestling circuit following his AEW comeback. It also brings added attention to Beyond Wrestling’s Novembercanrana, enhancing the event’s profile with a notable talent rejoining the indie ranks. Fans can expect a competitive atmosphere at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet as Kingston’s return is closely watched by both AEW supporters and independent wrestling followers.
