Eddie Kingston recently provided fans with a positive Eddie Kingston knee injury update, sharing encouraging news about his recovery process. The All Elite Wrestling (AEW) star returned to the promotion at the All Out event last September after being out for nearly eighteen months with multiple serious injuries.
Kingston Discusses His Road to Recovery
Kingston’s comeback followed a long period away from the ring due to a fractured tibia, a torn ACL, and a torn meniscus. Since making his return, he has resumed wrestling on a regular basis for the company. During an appearance on the show In The Weeds, hosted by Fightful’s Jeremy Lambert and Joel Pearl, Kingston shared insights into how his knee has been feeling after such a significant setback.
“Knee Feels Great,” Says Kingston
The wrestler addressed the current status of his knee and other lingering injuries during the conversation. In his own words:
“The knee feels great, knock on wood. Knee feels great. All the old injuries decided to say, ‘Hey, we’re still here.’ I’m getting them more time. Those were the injuries that were just bumps and bruises over 25 years. They’ll massage it out or I’ll take a shower and put tiger balm (on them) and feel fine. The one that was big was the knee and the knee feels great. I have no worry about it whatsoever. Once I put the brace on, I’m good to go.”
