This exclusive club includes esteemed hosts like Tom Hanks, Steven Martin, Tina Fey, Will Ferrell, Ben Affleck, and Melissa McCarthy.
Stone first graced the SNL stage in 2010 with Kings of Leon as the musical guest. Since then, she has returned to host the iconic sketch show in 2011, 2016, and 2019. The upcoming appearance marks her fifth time as the host, earning her a spot among the comedy elite.
In 2019, during her fourth time hosting, Stone humorously acknowledged the tradition of the show “pulling out all the stops” for five-time hosts. In a hilarious monologue, she quizzically asked certain cast members if they had something “special” planned for her fourth time hosting. As a playful nod to the honorary Five-Timers Club jackets, Stone received a comically DIYed “four-timers club” jacket, complete with a spray-painted number four on the back.
Currently starring in the Showtime comedy “The Curse” alongside Nathan Fielder, Stone is also generating Oscar buzz for her compelling performance in the Yorgos Lanthimos-directed film “Poor Things.”
The announcement of Stone as the host for the upcoming episode, with singer Noah Kahan as the musical guest, was made during the recent episode hosted by Jason Momoa.
