Eric Bischoff Predicts Chris Jericho TNA Debut Soon

Published:

Eric Bischoff, WWE Hall of Famer and former WCW President, recently addressed the relationship between WWE and TNA Wrestling during an episode of his podcast, 83 Weeks. He expressed strong confidence that WWE will strategically assist TNA as part of their broader interests. Bischoff explained this collaboration benefits WWE in multiple ways, making it a logical move for the company.

Potential Role of Chris Jericho in TNA’s AMC Launch

Bischoff also discussed rumors regarding Chris Jericho possibly appearing on TNA’s upcoming AMC debut. He revealed hearing that there may be terms within a current agreement allowing WWE to maintain an advantageous position if TNA undergoes a sale or exit. If this is accurate, Bischoff believes it creates an ideal scenario for Jericho to return in a storyline-driven fashion that would re-engage the WWE Universe strongly.

This is the first time I heard that there may be something in that agreement that puts WWE in a favorable position if there’s going to be an exit or sale of the company. If that’s true — that’s an if — but if that’s true, then I absolutely am convinced that this is a great opportunity for Chris to reintroduce himself to the WWE Universe in a storyline-driven way that makes him the ultimate babyface. Canadian too, by the way… If Chris can be instrumental, play that Lex Luger-like kind of surprise. But at the same time be a part of the program and create a battle between those two brands? Chris wins, he’s going to get that retirement guaranteed. But in the meantime, he’s having fun doing something that fits his character and where he’s at in his career. And it checks all kinds of boxes. I’ll be shocked if it doesn’t happen, and disappointed too, by the way.

Implications of Jericho’s Potential TNA Entrance

If Jericho’s debut on TNA occurs as Bischoff predicts, it could set up a compelling rivalry between TNA and WWE, captivating fans with dynamic storytelling. This return would allow Jericho to re-establish his position in the wrestling world while enjoying a role that fits his current career stage. Bischoff anticipates this will be both emotionally rewarding for Jericho and advantageous for the companies involved, ensuring a significant narrative impact for viewers.
