Logan Paul initially declared he could defeat any NFL athlete in a boxing match, backing his claim by offering a $1 million prize. This challenge attracted responses from several NFL figures, including former player and boxer Le’Veon Bell. However, Paul later withdrew from the planned fight, citing WWE’s warnings about potential injuries as the reason for his decision.

“I just feel like he backed out and that was his excuse. He should’ve just came out and said, ‘Actually I don’t want to do it.’ But instead, he had backup, and then he put the call online as well. ‘Hey look, I can’t do it because WWE said I couldn’t do it.’ Like that’s the biggest crap of all time,”
he said.
“You don’t just call people out and then it happens and you back out. That just shows he’s a flake.”

Gronkowski also referenced Logan Paul’s recent comments about having beaten up his brothers during a podcast episode, noting that he wasn’t present because he was engaged in football activities. “And on top of it, I saw he was commenting that he could whip my ass?”
Gronk added that since both will be participating in the upcoming flag football game in LA, he is ready to take any drama onto the field, even if it means turning the family-friendly event into a confrontation. He explained,
“If Logan Paul wants a piece of me, we’re both playing in the flag football game on March 21 in LA and I can tell you this: the last time players talked trash to me on a football field—I threw someone out of the club, I broke necks, I laid out defensive ends, I pummeled safeties. No one can tackle me, so if Logan Paul wants a piece of me, I’m down to throw it down on the field, and even throw my fist, just go at it, brawl out on the football field.”
He continued,
“I don’t care if it’s flag football and it’s a family event. I will fight him on the field if he wants to fight me right there and then,”
“If he wants to talk garbage, if he wants some of this, I’ll see him on the field.”

“I’ll whoop his ass,” Gronk confidently asserted.
