Logan Paul Claps Back at John Cena Ahead of WWE Clash in Paris Showdown

Published:

Logan Paul fired back at John Cena following the latter’s sharp remarks just before their highly anticipated WWE Clash in Paris match. The Maverick challenged Cena’s criticism by clarifying his current status within the wrestling world and emphasizing his dedication to the sport.

On the final SmackDown episode before the Clash in Paris event, John Cena did not hold back, labeling Logan Paul a parasite and pointing out that Paul was absent from the top influencers list. Cena, a 17-time World Champion, suggested that Paul’s presence in WWE was primarily to promote his outside business ventures rather than to focus on wrestling.

Paul addressed these comments in his recent YouTube vlog, disputing Cena’s portrayal of him. He stated that he no longer identifies as merely an influencer and stressed that wrestling is now his full-time commitment, despite his continued passion for creating YouTube content.

“Telling me I’m not on the influencer list. Okay, bro. Neither is KSI. Neither is Jake. You wanna know why? Cause [A.] Mainstream media doesn’t f**k with me, but [B.] I’m not a f**king influencer bro. I’m a f**king superstar. I make YouTube videos and I love making these videos, but like this ain’t my full-time job, buddy. I’m beyond the influencing now. I have influence, but I have elevated to become a WWE Superstar. I think I smoked him. He wasn’t even out there when I talked. Or maybe he was, I couldn’t see him. Sh*t joke, bro. Cut that sh*t,” he said.

Tommy Dreamer Applauds Both Cena and Paul’s Performances at Clash in Paris

Veteran wrestler Tommy Dreamer shared his insights on the Clash in Paris bout during a recent edition of Busted Open, praising the quality of the match delivered by John Cena and Logan Paul. He ranked Cena’s performance among the top three of his career and pointed out that the match also represented one of Logan Paul’s strongest showings in the ring.

“John Cena put on a wonderful performance,” Dreamer stated. “I literally had to go up and look up his age, just because of another [impressive] match. Him and Cody, perhaps one of the greatest John Cena matches of all time. I would say this Logan Paul [match] would be about two or three for John Cena performances. Excellent match. One of Logan Paul’s better matches of his career. The two guys brought it.”

The reaction to their showdown has sparked curiosity about what storylines and opportunities the WWE’s creative team, led by Triple H, might offer to Logan Paul moving forward. His promising performance against a seasoned champion like Cena could signal an evolving role within the company.

Logan Paul’s YouTube channel remains the source for his direct responses, while coverage of the rivalry and match continues under Sportskeeda Wrestling’s reporting.
