Sarah Logan, once a frequent teammate of Liv Morgan in WWE, has officially retired from professional wrestling to focus on her new life as a farmer and mother. This decision, revealed during a recent podcast appearance, marks a clear end to her in-ring career and highlights her contentment with a quieter lifestyle away from the wrestling spotlight.
Logan entered WWE in 2014, initially competing in NXT before progressing to the main roster in 2017 as part of The Riott Squad alongside Liv Morgan and Ruby Soho. The group built a strong bond both inside and outside the ring, becoming a memorable faction in WWE’s recent history. Following the group’s disbandment in 2019, Logan was released from WWE in 2020, only to return in 2022 under the ring name Valhalla. Her second stint was short-lived, culminating in her departure last year.
Sarah Logan Reflects on Her New Path and Faith
In a candid discussion on the Wise Traditions podcast, Logan explained how her previous fast-paced wrestling career contrasted sharply with her current lifestyle. The 32-year-old stressed the importance of finding stability and fulfillment through her family and farming.
“As you can see, my life was always go, go, go — so to have to sit down and be intentionally present was hard for me. It wasn’t until I became Catholic and found my faith that I really felt grounded. I was never alone, I was always on the road. I’m much more proud and content being Mom and Farmer Sarah than WWE Superstar Sarah. I love serving my family, my husband, and my children. Obviously, I left wrestling to fully focus on all of those things,” said Sarah Logan. (H/T – Ringside News)
The Lasting Bond of The Riott Squad Despite Career Changes
While the trio that formed The Riott Squad has moved on in different directions—Liv Morgan continuing as a top WWE star, Ruby Soho currently signed with AEW and on maternity leave, and Sarah Logan retired—their connection remains strong. Morgan recently shared how the group felt like family and contributed significantly to her growth as a performer.
“But honestly, we just had so much fun, me and the girls, we just had so so so much fun. Um, we really became a family, we still keep in touch. And so I feel like the foundation and the fundamentals of my tag team prowess, you know, form from the Riott Squad,” Liv Morgan said.
Ongoing WWE Ties Through Family
Though Sarah Logan has retired, her connection to WWE continues through her husband, Erik, who is active in the company as part of the tag team War Raiders with his partner, Ivar. This ongoing WWE presence within their family contrasts with Logan’s deliberate step away from the wrestling world.
Sarah Logan’s transition from the high-profile wrestling scene to a peaceful rural life underlines the diversity of paths former WWE talents may take after their athletic careers end. Her story also highlights how personal faith and family can redefine success beyond the entertainment industry.
