Logan Paul’s $1M NFL Challenge: No Takers Yet

Logan Paul has publicly stated that his $1 million challenge to NFL athletes remains open, but according to him, not a single player is willing to risk their own money. The WWE performer took to X on Friday to respond to the viral challenge he made toward professional football players, asserting that those mocking him online decline the straightforward terms he has proposed.

Paul’s offer is simple: any NFL player willing to place $1 million in escrow, travel to his gym in Puerto Rico (with travel costs paid), and fight him under the supervision of three professional judges and an official referee can take part. Despite this, Paul claims that NFL players, including former running back Le’Veon Bell, prefer to turn the situation into a larger, more commercialized event instead.

Logan Paul Rejects Formal Fight Promotions

Paul explained that many players want to create a full-scale spectacle with a streaming deal, press conferences, and a venue — essentially, they want to be paid fight appearances without risking their own funds.

They all want to formalize this with a streamer, venue, press conferences, etc. (i.e. get paid to fight but not risk their own money), but I don’t have time nor interest in that,

Paul wrote on X.

He emphasized he has no desire to halt his WWE commitments to set up a major event or spend months preparing for a traditional fight. Instead, he insists that the offer is for a simple, high-stakes gym confrontation. He even offered reassurance to those concerned about media exposure.

Also, if they want no-cameras, I’m down.

Background and Reactions from NFL Players

The challenge originated after a back-and-forth with Tom Brady during a flag football discussion, when Brady seemed to question Paul’s ability to compete against professional football players. This prompted Paul to announce the $1 million challenge on his podcast Impaulsive.

Several past and present NFL players have since responded. Former player Brandon Jacobs dismissed the significance of the money in an Instagram video, asserting the amount was too small to be a threat.

That ain’t s***, bro. That ain’t nothing at all,

Jacobs said.

Le’Veon Bell was similarly blunt in his response on X.

Ima football player that would beat the dog s*** outta Logan.

Logan Paul’s Combat Sports Experience

Paul is no stranger to combat sports, having completed an eight-round exhibition boxing match against Floyd Mayweather Jr., as well as engaging in fights with KSI, his former rival turned friend. He has dedicated years to boxing training alongside his wrestling career.

Despite the provocation and pushback from NFL players, Paul maintains that the $1 million challenge remains active. He is patiently waiting for a football player willing to place their money on the line and step into the ring with him.
