MVP Denies Tony Khan Wrestling Rumors, Slams Dirt Sheets

Published:

During a recent interview on TMZ Inside The Ring, MVP firmly denied circulating Tony Khan wrestling rumors involving AEW’s president. The wrestler dismissed reports claiming that wrestlers refer to Tony Khan as “Snowman” behind his back, emphasizing that such stories lack credibility and are purely speculative.

Criticism of Wrestling Gossip and Media Practices

MVP also delivered a scathing critique of the wrestling media, particularly dirt sheet outlets that thrive on sensationalism. He called out these platforms for producing clickbait under the guise of reporting, labeling their content as mere gossip rather than legitimate journalism. MVP described the situation as laughable and questioned the authenticity of the information they share.

Condemnation of Rumor Leaks by Insiders

He went further to criticize insiders and wrestlers who leak backstage details, calling such behavior a “real bitch move.” MVP directed his strongest condemnation at the outlets themselves, branding them as “leeches” that profit from wrestling without giving anything back. He challenged their contribution to the industry, highlighting the parasitic nature of their work.

MVP Promotes His Own Authentic Wrestling Commentary

In contrast, MVP spotlighted his own podcast, Marking Out with MVP, as a more genuine source of wrestling insights. He emphasized that his show offers fans real perspectives based on his extensive experience within the wrestling world, providing authenticity absent in typical dirt sheet coverage.

“I don’t know where that came from. I don’t know who put that out there. The only snowman I know is Jeezy,” MVP said.
“That’s not anything I’ve ever called him. I haven’t heard that. You got to remember, man, these people that run these, what are traditionally called dirt sheets. It’s all clickbait. They put shit out there because they want people to click and read the story… it’s just gossip passed off as legitimate journalism, and it’s laughable.”
“They make a living off of it like parasites, but what do they contribute to the game?”
