Roxanne Perez Bleeds After Charlotte Flair’s Shocking WWE Move

During the January 30, 2026, episode of Friday Night SmackDown held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Roxanne Perez endured a bloody injury after facing WWE legend Charlotte Flair. Perez criticized Flair’s in-ring tactics, accusing her of improperly using her gear as a weapon.

On social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, Perez expressed her frustration about the incident, insisting that the referee should have disqualified Flair for the move that caused her to bleed.

The referee should’ve disqualified Charlotte for using her gear as a weapon!!!! I was stabbed!!! Justice for the judgement day NOW @WWE #SmackDown pic.twitter.com/wuPiht97YT

Visuals from the match showed Perez with visible cuts, particularly near her ear and upper cheek, though the bleeding had reduced by the time she posted the photos after the bout.

Roxanne Perez Struggles to Match Previous Royal Rumble Success

Roxanne Perez has not been able to replicate her standout 2025 Royal Rumble performance during the 2026 event. In 2025, she set a WWE record by lasting over an hour in the Women’s Royal Rumble and eliminated one competitor. However, in 2026, she was out of the match much sooner.

Entering at number 11, Perez remained in the ring for just over 22 minutes before being eliminated by Tiffany Stratton, who finished as the event’s runner-up. This fourth Royal Rumble appearance for Perez began in 2023, when she debuted unexpectedly as the reigning NXT Women’s Champion. The following year, she entered at the 27th position but was again eliminated by Stratton.

Judgment Day’s Impact on the Royal Rumble Outcome

Although Perez did not win, her stablemate Liv Morgan from Judgment Day claimed victory, eliminating three competitors including fellow faction member Raquel Rodriguez. While Perez sees herself as a future Royal Rumble winner, she understands she must wait at least another year to compete for that opportunity again.
