Shawn Dean, known professionally as Capt. Shawn Dean, is an American professional wrestler signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and a member of Shane Taylor Promotions alongside Carlie Bravo and Trish Adora. He made his AEW debut in 2020 and signed a full-time contract in 2021 while also serving as AEW’s Extras Coordinator. His “Captain” persona reflects his prior service in the United States Navy aboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. Dean has competed across AEW Dark, Dynamite, and Collision, with his career highlight arriving in August 2025 when The Infantry defeated Sons of Texas to capture the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship.
