Toni Storm Declares Herself an AEW Lifer, Rules Out WWE Return

Published:

Toni Storm, currently the AEW Women’s World Champion and a standout performer across multiple wrestling brands, has firmly stated her allegiance to All Elite Wrestling. Since joining the Jacksonville-based promotion in 2022, Storm has become a central figure and recently confirmed her intention to remain exclusively with AEW for the foreseeable future.

In a conversation on the Sandman podcast, Storm emphasized that her contract with AEW is not just a job but a lifetime commitment. She made it clear that when she retires from wrestling, she will do so without transitioning to other companies or roles within the industry.

Permanent Departure from WWE Plans

Storm also discussed her views on WWE, making it clear she has no plans to return there. While she acknowledged WWE’s status as a major wrestling enterprise and expressed respect for many people working there, Storm explained that the WWE environment does not align with her personal or professional style.

She suggested that AEW’s environment suits her better and expressed confidence in continuing her career there for many years to come, potentially even two decades.

Exclusive AEW Focus and Future Outlook

Speaking about her contract, she stated,

“I’m on a five-year deal, and I can’t remember how long. But I’m a lifer for AEW. There’s no like, ‘Oh, well, I’ll see what happens.’ When I’m done wrestling, you’ll never see me again. You’ll never see me in any other capacity, or in any other company, for that matter. Exclusive. And then I will vanish with that. There’s no encore. I’m not doing anything else. Where would I go? What would I do? Because I’m on a long deal for AEW. I signed my life to AEW.”

Regarding WWE, she added,

“No, and that’s no offense to them. I think they’re great. I understand them for exactly what they are: They’re a machine, they’re a business, and I just don’t fit in with their whole schtick, and that’s cool. I love a lot of the people that work there. And it’s like yes, get that money, get that power, but realistically, in my life, that’s it. I could do another 20 years with AEW,”
