The company applied for the term Fairway to Hell with plans focused on merchandising and hosting a golf tournament. Combining Golf and Wrestling Through a Charity Event
The planned golf tournament will be named Fairway to Heaven, followed by a special edition of AEW Dynamite called Fairway to Hell, which would be held the very next day in the same city or region. This sequence is designed to engage both golf enthusiasts and wrestling fans, creating a unique crossover experience.
I had this amazing idea that I think the Barstool audience would love and I think golf fans would love. I really want to do something that I think would be for a great cause, and it’s a charity golf tournament and it would be great for wrestling and it would be great for wrestling fans,
Khan said.
Hopefully it could bring some new fans to golf and some new fans to wrestling, because I think there’s more of a crossover than people would realize between the sports.
