“Hall Of Fame with Booker T & Brad Gilmore”

podcast, Williams discussed his anticipation for being called up to WWE’s main roster. When asked about the timeline for this transition, he conveyed his eagerness to make the jump without delay.

“Yesterday couldn’t have been soon enough, man,”

Williams said.

“I’ve been ready to make that jump to the red or blue brand for a long time. I feel like it’s that time, I feel like it’s been that time.”

He went on to say,

“I feel like people wanna see that. But, as for now, wherever I am, I’m just gonna make sure it’s the hottest show.”

Involvement in the TNA vs. NXT Storyline

Williams played an important role in the ongoing TNA vs. NXT invasion storyline, which began with a “Winner Take All” champion versus champion match against Oba Femi on the September 23 episode of NXT airing on The CW.
