Uncle Howdy has hinted at the potential addition of a new member to The Wyatt Sicks, a prominent faction featured on WWE’s SmackDown since their return in May. Known for holding the Tag Team Championship on the blue brand, this development fuels speculation about the future composition of the group.
Currently, the faction includes five members, with Uncle Howdy among them. In a recent interview with TVInsider, Bo Dallas, who plays Uncle Howdy, addressed whether there could be plans for new performers to join The Wyatt Sicks. He shared insight into how the faction has been shaped based on the late Bray Wyatt’s creative vision.
Dallas revealed that Bray Wyatt personally selected the wrestlers embodying the faction’s characters. When asked about the possibility of expanding the group according to Bray’s notes, Dallas expressed cautious openness to growth but emphasized their current focus.
“Never say never. There are always possibilities of other people coming in the future, but right now the core and our direction and what we want to get done is going to stay as it is. That’s as far as I see, but never say never. There are a lot of untold stories out of my brother’s books and notes. Time will tell. It’s a possibility, but right now I think the Wyatt Sicks as it is that needs to get some stuff done,” he said. —Bo Dallas, Uncle Howdy
The Wyatt Sicks originally were intended to be part of Bray Wyatt’s revamped Wyatt Family, which incorporated elements of his Firefly Funhouse puppet characters. Following Bray’s untimely passing, those plans were delayed until the faction re-emerged in June 2024 on an episode of RAW.
Successful Tag Team Title Defense at Clash in Paris
The Wyatt Sicks recently defended their Tag Team Championship against The Street Profits during the Clash in Paris event. Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy, faction members competing in the bout, managed to retain the titles through strategic teamwork and outside interference.
Nikki Cross and Uncle Howdy played crucial roles during the match by disrupting The Street Profits, helping secure the victory for their team. This triumph solidifies the faction’s reputation as a formidable force within WWE’s tag team division.
With Bo Dallas open to the possibility of new additions in the future, The Wyatt Sicks could strengthen their presence on SmackDown and develop further storylines grounded in Bray Wyatt’s original creative direction.
