WrestleMania 41 Shatters Pro Wrestling Ticket Sales Record

WrestleMania 41 has established a new record for ticket sales revenue in professional wrestling, according to Brandon Thurston of POST Wrestling. The combined earnings from both nights, reported by live event trade outlet Pollstar, reached $66,074,558, surpassing any previous wrestling event’s revenue even when inflation is considered.

Attendance and Revenue Figures Highlight Event’s Impact

The total number of tickets sold over the two nights was 113,412, which is slightly below the 118,641 attendance figure announced by the host venue, Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The gate revenue notably exceeded that of Night 2 at WrestleMania 40, which previously held the record for the highest pro wrestling gate. WrestleMania 32 had also been a top earner once inflation adjustments were applied.

Fan Reactions and Ticket Pricing Dynamics

The record-breaking revenue comes amid criticism of TKO’s approach to increasing ticket prices for live events, aiming to align pricing more closely with major concerts and UFC fights. Despite this, ticket sales for WrestleMania 41 have shown slower momentum, with around 37,000 tickets distributed per night according to WrestleTix.

Ongoing Ticket Promotions and Event Details

Allegiant Stadium recently offered a limited-time discount on tickets for WrestleMania 41, scheduled for April 18 and 19. The event’s return to Las Vegas continues to draw attention as the WWE prepares for another major spectacle.
