She was trained by Kid Fite and made her professional wrestling debut at SWA Battlezone on 30 May 2009 under the ring name Kay Lee Ray, competing in a Battlezone Rumble to determine the number one contender for the NWA Scottish Heavyweight Championship. This early opportunity marked the beginning of what would become a successful career in professional wrestling.
She quickly established herself on the British independent circuit, gaining experience and building her reputation. Her early training and debut matches provided the foundation for her later success in larger promotions. The independent wrestling scene in the United Kingdom served as her training ground, allowing her to develop her skills and style before moving on to compete for more prominent organizations.

She went on to win this title two more times, cementing her status as one of the top women’s wrestlers in the United Kingdom.
