Early Life and Background
Shaun Edward Ricker was born on November 1, 1982, in Hagerstown, Maryland. He has two older siblings and began watching professional wrestling at the age of three, which sparked his passion for the sport. Ricker graduated from North Hagerstown High School, where he participated in track and field and played in the school band.
Path to WWE
Ricker moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, at the age of 20 to pursue a career in professional wrestling. He trained at a local wrestling school while supporting himself with various jobs.
