Calyx Harmony Hampton, known in the ring as Sol Ruca, was born on August 26, 1999, in Ontario, California. She is biracial, with her father being African American musician Paul A. Hampton and her mother, European American Sandy Brown-Hampton. Ruca graduated from Western Christian High School in 2017 and later attended the University of Oregon, where she majored in human physiology and competed in gymnastics, showcasing her athletic prowess from an early age.
