WWE Raw Scores 525M Hours Watched in First Year on Netflix

Published:

Netflix announced that WWE Raw reached an impressive 525 million hours of viewership during its inaugural year on the streaming platform, highlighting the global success of the WWE Raw Netflix viewership. This comes as the show marks its first anniversary since debuting on Netflix on January 6, a significant milestone for both WWE and the streaming giant.

Raw’s Strong First Year on Netflix

Celebrating the partnership, Netflix revealed that Raw alone drew nearly 340 million views from subscribers, while WWE’s premium live events, including SmackDown, WrestleMania, and others broadcast internationally, contributed an additional 185 million views. These figures underscore the show’s strong performance outside of traditional cable broadcasting.

According to the official press release,

“Netflix members welcomed WWE with a bang (but thankfully, no permanent injuries). In 2025, our members watched 525M hours of WWE content,”

the announcement stated. Netflix further specified,

“Of this total, Raw accounted for nearly 340M views and 185M views for Premium Live Events broadcast outside of the US like SmackDown, WrestleMania, Elimination Chamber, Money in the Bank, Night of Champions and Royal Rumble.”

Consistent Rankings and Global Appeal

Raw consistently held a position within Netflix’s Global English TV Top 10 almost every week since its arrival, only dropping out in December due to other popular titles like Stranger Things. Over its first 52 weeks, Raw averaged over 3 million views per episode. The streaming service commented,

“Since Raw’s official Netflix debut on January 6, 2025, the show has made the Global English TV Top 10 nearly every week it’s been on service (47 out of a possible 52 weeks),”

emphasizing the series’ enduring popularity.

This success extended far beyond the United States, WWE’s birthplace, with Raw breaking into the top 10 rankings in 34 countries. Netflix spotlighted the show’s broad appeal by stating,

“And it’s not just in the US, the birthplace of the WWE. Raw has made the Top 10 in 34 countries, including the US (51 weeks), Bolivia (49 weeks), Canada (48 weeks), the UK (40 weeks) and Mexico (38 weeks).”

These statistics highlight WWE Raw’s reach into international markets, particularly in countries such as Canada, the UK, Bolivia, and Mexico.

Expanding WWE Content on Netflix

In early 2026, Netflix expanded its wrestling library with the WWE PLE collection. Fans can also anticipate the arrival of season two of the docuseries “WWE: Unreal,” scheduled to premiere on January 20. These additions are expected to further stimulate WWE Raw Netflix viewership and broaden the appeal for subscribers looking for wrestling entertainment.

The successful first year of WWE Raw on Netflix signals a new era for the sport’s accessibility and global fan engagement, setting expectations for continued growth in both content offerings and total viewership in the year ahead.
