WWE talent Roxanne Perez recently disclosed undergoing surgery to remove a benign mass from her back that had been causing persistent pain. In a TikTok video, she explained that although the discomfort had persisted for several months, she initially avoided taking time off from wrestling.
Perez Discusses Her Passion and Recovery Progress
Expressing her deep love for wrestling, a dream she has held since the age of ten, Perez acknowledged the importance of prioritizing health.
“I honestly love what I do so much. It’s been a dream of mine to become a WWE Superstar since I was ten-years-old, but our health is very important, so we need to put that first. My recovery is going well. I don’t have too much pain anymore; it kind of comes and goes. I’m gonna be back in the ring in no time,”
she said.
Supportive Environment Aiding Her Healing
According to reports from ProWrestling.net editor Jason Powell, Perez is recuperating at home surrounded by her dog and boyfriend Drake Morreaux, a fellow developmental WWE wrestler known for appearances on WWE LFG and WWE Evolve. This supportive setting is playing a crucial role in her recovery journey.
Looking Ahead to Perez’s Return to Wrestling
With her pain diminishing and determination strong, Perez is expected to make a comeback to WWE action shortly. Her candid update highlights the balance between pursuing a wrestling career and managing health challenges, underscoring the resilience required in professional sports.
