Zoey Stark Hits Major Milestone in Knee Surgery Recovery: Latest Update on WWE Star’s Comeback

Published:

WWE superstar Zoey Stark has announced a significant step forward in her knee surgery recovery, following a serious injury on the May 19, 2025, episode of WWE Raw. After she sustained tears to her ACL, MCL, and meniscus—forcing her out of the Money in the Bank qualifying match and requiring immediate surgery—Stark has kept fans informed on her rehabilitation progress through a video post on her Twitter/X account.

Rehabilitation Progress Highlighted After Salt Lake City Trip

Stark, affectionately addressing her followers as “Stark Marks,” shared that she recently returned from a road trip to Salt Lake City, where she combined family time with her ongoing physical therapy. She detailed her primary focus for the week, which centered on reaching a critical benchmark in her recovery process.

“This week was a lot of fun. We did a road trip to Salt Lake City, got to see the family, had an amazing time, and worked on my physical therapy,”

“My goal for this week, and it had to happen this week more than anything else, was to hit 90 degrees [of knee flexion].”

—Stark, WWE Superstar

Stark explained the importance of this rehabilitation milestone, as gaining enough knee flexion is necessary before continuing with walking exercises.

“If you don’t hit 90 degrees after you tear your ACL, MCL, and meniscus like I did, you can’t even think about walking. So my goal is to start walking around five weeks.”

Breakthrough in Physical Therapy and Next Steps

While initially frustrated with her progress during the trip, Stark reached a breakthrough midweek when she returned home for a session of physical therapy. She described the challenge of nearly reaching her flexibility goal and her success in eventually surpassing it.

“I was maybe hitting 70 while I was in Salt Lake, so there was a lot of frustration there. Until Wednesday — I go into PT, I’m at home, I’m relaxed, I had my physical therapy work on me a bit… and there you go, hit the 91, which I’m stoked about!”

With this achievement, Stark is optimistic and remains committed to her rehabilitation, aiming to begin walking at the five-week point since her surgery.
