San JoseSwift Response: Arrests Made in French Bulldog Robbery Case

San JoseSwift Response: Someone in San Jose said that Alyssa Castro, Isaac Ortiz, and Jesse Saavedra robbed them at gunpoint in June and took their French bulldog and other things. They ran away before the police found them.

The security video helped the police catch the crooks. On September 7, three people in San Jose were caught with warrants.

There were a lot of guns and bullets in the suspects’ homes and cars, including a “ghost gun.” The victim’s French bulldog was given back to him without any harm.

Steve Aponte of the San Jose Police Department said that the three accused were charged with robbing, having guns, and stealing.

This shows how important it is for people to sign up for their security cams on time through the SJCAM program. A crime prevention expert and supervisor, Sandra Garcia, explained that this program doesn’t give you camera access. Still, it does make it easier to tell the police about crimes in your neighborhood.

Captain Spears emphasized that joining SJCAM is voluntary and requires teamwork, even though privacy issues exist. About 2,100 sites have signed up since January. Now, it’s safer there.
