Vote for Nature Spotlight: Wildlife enthusiasts worldwide are invited to cast their votes for the Wildlife Photographer of the Year’s People’s Choice Award, a segment that engages the public in recognizing outstanding wildlife photography.
The Natural History Museum in London, the host of the overall exhibition, and an international judging panel meticulously selected 25 extraordinary images from a vast pool of 49,957 entries submitted from 95 different countries.
The diverse collection features captivating scenes, including seemingly kissing hares, a polar bear peacefully resting on an iceberg, and a majestic grizzly bear standing in a shimmering lake. Notable entries also highlight the environmental impact of human activities, such as a young fox foraging in an overflowing trash can in London and a male elephant navigating through a pile of waste.
The voting process is open online until January 31, providing participants with the opportunity to contribute to the selection of the winning photograph. The chosen image, along with the top four, will be announced in February and showcased both online and in the in-person exhibition at the Natural History Museum.
This unique engagement empowers the public to play a role in celebrating the beauty of the natural world and raising awareness of the challenges it faces.
