Becky Lynch Slams CM Punk & AJ Lee with Shocking New Insults

Published:

After capturing the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, WWE Superstar Becky Lynch directed sharp criticism toward AJ Lee and her husband, CM Punk. Lynch accused the media of favoritism and dismissed the couple as disingenuous in a recent statement. Her remarks came following CM Punk’s praise of AJ Lee during an appearance on the NotSam Wrestling podcast, where he expressed admiration as Lee made her WWE return.

In reaction to a video clip shared by Sam Roberts on X, Becky Lynch condemned the wrestling media for what she called sycophantic coverage of the pair. She further called both Punk and Lee frauds, expanding on their initials with a strong rebuke.

“Typical GLAZING by the wrestling media!!! SURPRISE SURPRISE it’s SUCK UP SCAM ROBERTS! When we look back years from now, experts will say I was RIGHT about EVERYTHING!! COMPLETE MORON Punk and ABSOLUTE JOKE Lee are FRAUDS!!! DON’T LISTEN TO THE MEDIA!!”

Becky Lynch’s accusations reflect ongoing tension, as she has lost to AJ Lee twice so far in 2025. The first defeat took place at Wrestlepalooza in a mixed tag team match where Lee forced Lynch to submit, despite Lynch teaming with Seth Rollins and Lee pairing with Punk. The second loss occurred during the Women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series.

Incident Leads to Panelist’s Removal During WWE RAW

At WWE RAW’s first Netflix anniversary event, Becky Lynch recaptured the Women’s Intercontinental Championship by defeating Maxxine Dupri. Lynch secured the victory by reversing Dupri’s Ankle Lock hold into a pinfall, though the match’s conclusion was missed by panelist Peter Rosenberg.

During the match at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Lynch reportedly had Rosenberg removed from the venue. Rosenberg later posted a video on X calling Lynch a “psychotic” and a “lunatic.” Lynch responded by indicating that the expulsion was merely a warning to him.

Upcoming Championship Rematch Scheduled in Belfast

Maxxine Dupri is set to challenge Becky Lynch again for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the January 19, 2026 episode of WWE RAW. This rematch will take place in Belfast, Ireland, Lynch’s home turf, potentially giving her a significant advantage as she defends her title.
