Bronson Reed shared insights into his wrestling career and his recent Bronson Reed injury comeback during an appearance on Busted Open Radio with hosts Dave LaGreca and Nic Nemeth. He reflected on the steady climb he has made in the industry and his role alongside Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker in The Vision, just before WWE’s Wrestlepalooza premium live event.
Reed emphasized that his trajectory in wrestling has always been built on persistence and hard work rather than being fast-tracked.
Reed’s Steady Climb and Career Philosophy
Reed noted his gradual rise through wrestling ranks, stating,
“I feel like in my career, I’ve never really been hot shotted into a position, so I’ve always worked my way up the ladder,”
Bronson Reed said.
“Now I’m finally in the position that I’ve wanted to be in for the last few years… I’m very happy to be in the position I’m in. And I feel like I’m just really just starting. There’s still a lot to come.”
He credited Karl Anderson for giving him vital advice: “don’t quit.”
The Challenge and Recovery from a Major Injury
Earlier in the year, Reed endured the most significant injury of his professional career, which kept him sidelined for two months. This pause brought physical and mental challenges, leaving him uncertain about what level of performance he could reach after recovery.
Reflecting on that difficult period, Reed said,
“This one was the first one that sidelined me,”
adding,
“You do question yourself… but I just made sure to hit it really hard with rehab. I made sure that when I come back I am something a little bit more special than what it was before.”
Encouragement from Triple H During Rehabilitation
During his rehabilitation, a phone call from Triple H helped ease Reed’s worries about losing his place in the WWE landscape. Reed recalled,
“A few weeks into my surgery, Hunter rang me,”
and quoted Triple H saying,
“’Look, just don’t worry about your spot. When you’re good and you’re healthy, you come back, you’ll be in a good spot.’ So I just made sure I kept him as a man of his word.”
The Vision’s Unique Dynamic with Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker
Reed also addressed the comparisons between himself and Bron Breakker to past WWE sidekick roles like J&J Security. He pushed back on this notion, insisting that both he and Breakker are formidable competitors in their own right.

“You can’t treat me and Bron in that same respect,”
he said.
“We’re both two heavy hitters. We’re both two guys that can kill everyone on the roster. It’s almost like Seth having two heavies, but I feel like the group really is individuals… You’re starting to see everyone sort of branch off and do their own thing, which only makes The Vision even stronger.”
Looking Ahead to Wrestlepalooza on ESPN
With Wrestlepalooza marking WWE’s first premium live event on ESPN, Reed expressed the significance of the opportunity. He described the excitement surrounding the event:
“It’s very exciting times. You know, when you think of sports in general, you think of ESPN, so it feels so big to me,”
and added,
“Growing up, I was a big basketball fan and NBA on ESPN… and now you’re going to get to see Bronson Reed on ESPN. I feel like WWE is sort of just kicking goals constantly.”
The Impact and Future Potential for Bronson Reed
Bronson Reed’s candid discussion reveals not only his resilience in overcoming injury but also his growing stature within WWE. With encouragement from influential figures like Triple H and a vital role in The Vision alongside Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker, Reed’s injury comeback signals a new chapter that fans can eagerly anticipate. His presence on ESPN during Wrestlepalooza highlights WWE’s expanding reach and reinforces Reed’s potential to make a lasting impact in the sport.
