Former WWE Champ: Bron Breakker Deserves Singles Stardom Now

Published:

A former WWE champion recently expressed that Bron Breakker should be showcased as a leading singles star rather than a supporting member of Seth Rollins’ faction, The Vision. After WrestleMania 41, Breakker joined forces with Rollins and Paul Heyman on WWE Raw, forming a group that later expanded to include Bronson Reed and gained recognition as The Vision.

Although Breakker remains a prominent figure on WWE Raw due to his association with Rollins and Heyman, his former tag team partner Bishop Dyer (formerly known as Baron Corbin) feels that Breakker’s true potential lies outside the faction environment. Dyer understands the reasoning behind Breakker’s current role but believes Breakker can rise independently.

Insights From Bishop Dyer on Breakker’s Potential

In an interview with SEScoops’ Scott Fishman, Bishop Dyer shared his thoughts on Bron Breakker’s position within The Vision. He highlighted Breakker’s rare combination of personality, athleticism, and in-ring skill, calling him “truly special.” Dyer reflected on their time together as The Wolfdogs, the NXT tag team they formed, crediting their partnership for helping both wrestlers develop better characters and dynamic performances.

Dyer noted,

“I like him in The Vision but I don’t like him in The Vision because I think that he is such a star. He carries so much personality, athletic ability, and what he can do in the ring he is truly special.”

He added,

“And obviously I’m partial to him because we created The Wolfdogs and I think that woke up a lot of people up to how good I actually am as well because we were doing some pretty incredible matches. And I think I did a good job of helping him bring personality out a little bit, a little less just being the tough angry guy and about having fun with it, and I think it helped him evolve and we bettered each other.”

Dyer expressed concern about Breakker’s secondary placement within The Vision’s hierarchy, stating that with big names like Heyman, Seth Rollins, and Becky leading the faction, Breakker and Bronson Reed often appear one step behind. Dyer argued that Breakker is not meant to play a background role, suggesting the current setup is similar to putting him in another tag team.

He declared,

I think he’s a singles star all the way through and the day he turns on Seth I’m going to be so happy whenever that happens. Because I think he’s gonna headline a WrestleMania at some point so I love supporting him and what he’s doing and the stuff he’s putting out there.

Breakker’s Tag Team Success and Current Context

Breakker and Dyer, as The Wolfdogs, captured the NXT Tag Team Championships in 2024, marking Dyer’s final WWE championship before his contract was not extended later that year. Currently, Dyer competes with former WWE talent Dijak as The Skyscrapers, holding the MLW World Tag Team Championships.

Since their departure from WWE, both wrestlers have continued to make their mark, but Dyer’s view remains that Bron Breakker’s future is brightest as a singles competitor. His affiliation with The Vision has provided exposure and opportunities, but the veteran wrestler believes Breakker is destined for a more prominent spotlight.

Anticipating Breakker’s Path Forward in WWE

The vision for Bron Breakker as an emerging singles star highlights the potential shifts in WWE’s storytelling and talent development strategies. Breaking away from faction alignments and gaining individual momentum could position Breakker as a major player in headlining marquee events, including WrestleMania. Dyer’s comments underscore a shared belief among insiders that Breakker possesses the charisma and skill to lead WWE’s next generation of talent.

As WWE continues to evolve its roster and narratives, fans and analysts alike will watch closely to see if Breakker transitions into a definitive singles star, fulfilling the expectations set by his past achievements and current talent.
