Intruders Target Elderly Couple: Unknown suspects targeted an elderly couple in a distressing home invasion robbery on Friday in San Jose, as reported by the San Jose Police Department. This unsettling incident took place at a residence on the 1900 block of Story Road at approximately 4:51 p.m. and was captured by surveillance cameras.
The three suspects, who appear to be female, gained access to the home, which was occupied by an elderly woman. According to law enforcement, the suspects made off with cash, various belongings, and personal identification information. They fled the scene before the police arrived, as stated by SJPD.
According to a family member who shared images and Ring doorbell footage of the incident, the suspects managed to persuade an elderly man residing there to open the front door. While two of the suspects engaged the man to distract him, the third intruder entered the residence.
Once inside, the suspect reportedly ransacked bedrooms and hallway closets.
