Over the past several weeks, Jey Uso has displayed unusual conduct in WWE programming, sparking theories about his true loyalties. This has become a hot topic among fans and analysts, with WWE expert Sam Roberts recently presenting a conspiracy around a potential betrayal involving Jey Uso. Roberts shared his insights during an episode of the NotSam Wrestling podcast, focusing on the ongoing storyline that includes Jey Uso and LA Knight.
Sam Roberts Explores Possible Alliance Between Jey Uso and Paul Heyman
During the podcast, Sam Roberts examined the possibility of Jey Uso forming an alliance with Paul Heyman, especially after Heyman’s anticipated betrayal of Seth Rollins. Roberts suggested that although it is not confirmed, there could be a reveal on television where Jey Uso sides with Heyman, creating a major plot twist. However, Roberts also cautioned that this storyline would introduce multiple complications.
He explained,
“Jey Uso is on the phone with Paul Heyman. I don’t think he is. However, there is a version of this where everything shows itself and then one week on television Jey Uso reveals himself to be with Paul Heyman. That may be one swerve too many. We already got a swerve at WrestleMania. If we then get another swerve where Paul Heyman and Jey Uso are on the same team and thus Paul Heyman has not only betrayed Roman Reigns, but now he has betrayed Seth Rollins as well, unless Jey joins the Vision, which feels a little far-fetched to me because the whole story is based on family. So Paul would have to leave the Vision and join Jey, but then Roman would feel betrayed, Jimmy would feel betrayed, Seth would feel betrayed by Paul. There’s a lot there, a lot of loose ends. I’m not saying those loose ends couldn’t be tied up, but there is a lot there to sort of, figure out,”

Such a twist would deeply affect the dynamics between key WWE factions, especially since family loyalty is central to Jey’s character arc. These potential betrayals could ignite intense rivalries among Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, and Seth Rollins, leaving fans eager to see how WWE will manage these complex relationships.
LA Knight Seen as More Suitable for a Villain Role than Jey Uso
In the same conversation, Sam Roberts expressed the view that LA Knight fits the heel role better than Jey Uso within the current storyline. Knight’s aggressive actions, including delivering a BFT finisher to Jey Uso on the latest episode of RAW, enhance his portrayal as a compelling antagonist.

Roberts stated,
“I think LA Knight is in the better position to be a villain than Jey Uso would be to be a villain, but I think this story goes much, much deeper than that.”

This perspective suggests that LA Knight’s character could benefit from embracing a darker role, adding layers to the conflict on WWE programming. Knight’s interactions with Jey Uso have already started to escalate tensions, making a heel turn a plausible direction moving forward.
What This Could Mean for WWE Storylines in Coming Weeks
The developments hint at an evolving narrative where Jey Uso’s allegiances might shift, potentially reshaping WWE’s faction battles. If Jey indeed betrays his family or aligns with Paul Heyman, it would mark a significant change, injecting unpredictability into WWE RAW’s storytelling. Alternatively, LA Knight turning fully heel could provide a fresh dynamic, challenging current top stars and elevating his role.
As the saga progresses, WWE fans will watch closely to see which direction the creative team takes. The blend of family loyalty, betrayal, and rivalry remains a cornerstone of WWE narratives, making the unfolding events involving Jey Uso, Paul Heyman, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and LA Knight critical to future showdowns.
