Karrion Kross Shocks Fans with First Non-WWE Appearance and Attack

Published:

Karrion Kross, alongside his wife Scarlett Bordeaux, stunned wrestling fans by appearing at a wrestling event beyond World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) just weeks after their exit from the company. Their first non-WWE appearance took place at GCW Homecoming, where their surprise return immediately captured attention.

During the event, as wrestlers Matt Cardona and Shotzi battled in the ring, a group of druids appeared to support Cardona. However, the tide turned when two of these druids revealed themselves to be Kross and Bordeaux. They attacked Cardona, with Kross delivering a decisive blow using a door before finishing with a top rope senton to claim victory.

Although this marked Kross’ initial appearance outside WWE post-departure, the former NXT Champion has previously competed in GCW events, notably in GCW Bloodsport, showcasing his familiarity with the promotion.

Insights on Karrion Kross’s Outlook After Leaving WWE

Following their departure from the Stamford-based WWE, Karrion Kross opened up about his future prospects in an interview with Tom Campbell from Cultaholic. He conveyed a sense of optimism despite the uncertainties surrounding their exit.

“I wish. I hope so. For everybody’s sake. There is so much to play with here. Unfortunately, the reality is well known now about what exactly is going on. I have to tell you, I feel very hopeful about everything happening right now. We have so many people coming in to talk to us and bring us out to events. We’ve always had great relationships outside the company [WWE] and with third-party sponsorships and endorsements. There is stuff flying in.The biggest problem we have is that we have such an abundance of work that we can’t do all of it right now, so we try not to double-book ourselves. There is tons of stuff coming in and we feel so supported. I’m looking forward to it. Everything happens for a reason.”

Kross emphasized the numerous opportunities now available to him and Bordeaux, noting their established connections with various promotions and endorsers. The couple is now managing a busy schedule filled with multiple offers, which requires careful planning to avoid conflicts.

Context of the Wrestling Scene and What Lies Ahead

Their return to GCW Homecoming with this dramatic intervention is a significant moment not only for Kross and Bordeaux but also for their fans, signaling an exciting new chapter outside WWE’s shadow. This bold move may encourage other wrestlers transitioning from WWE to explore alternative promotions.

With Kross expressing confidence and a hopeful mindset, his future in wrestling promotions looks promising. The abundance of work and support from the wrestling community suggests that both Kross and Bordeaux are poised to make a major impact on the independent circuit moving forward.
