At WrestleMania 41, held in Las Vegas, Karrion Kross appeared during Night Two despite not being scheduled for a match, demonstrating how Logan Paul pushed for his involvement in the event. During the singles contest between AJ Styles and Logan Paul, Kross showed up ringside and attempted to influence the outcome with underhanded tactics. The two-time NXT Champion recently shared that it was Logan Paul who urged WWE to include him in the match.
Karrion Kross, who departed WWE after his contract expired on August 10, spoke about his WrestleMania experience in a recent YouTube video and reflected on his time with the company. He emphasized the positive relationship he and his wife, Scarlett, shared with Logan Paul, recognizing the social media star’s efforts to have him featured.
“I don’t know a lot about him outside of my interactions with him [Logan Paul]. But I will say I like the guy, I’ve always liked the guy. My wife thinks he’s great. He’s always been kind to us. And one thing that I thought was really awesome that he did was, he was somebody who actually pushed for me to be involved in the match with him and AJ [Styles] at WrestleMania. And I found out only a few hours before I was actually going to do it,” Kross said. —Karrion Kross
The former NXT star detailed how Logan Paul actively supported his involvement, which came as a surprise just hours before stepping into the ring. The next day, Kross approached Paul to express his gratitude in person.
“I thought that was really cool that he did that. When I saw him the next day, I at the very least made sure that he knew. I went up to him, and I shook his hands, said thank you. I know you said something because somebody told me he was very cool about it,” Kross added. —Karrion Kross
Karrion Kross’s Limited WrestleMania Appearances and Main Roster Journey
Despite a strong presence in NXT, Karrion Kross struggled to replicate his success on WWE’s main roster, facing challenges that prevented him from capturing any titles after his promotion. His sole WrestleMania match took place at WrestleMania 40, where he joined forces with his stablemates, the Authors of Pain, in a Six-Man Tag Team Philadelphia Street Fight.

In that match, Kross and his allies faced The Pride, a team including former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits, with Bully Ray serving as a special guest referee. The contest was intense, but Kross’s team ultimately suffered defeat, marking his only WrestleMania bout so far.
Now that Kross is no longer under contract with WWE, questions remain about whether he will return to the promotion and potentially compete at future WrestleMania events, known as The Showcase of The Immortals.
The Potential Impact of Kross’s Departure on WWE and Wrestling Fans
Karrion Kross’s exit from WWE leaves a gap in the roster of former NXT standouts who failed to achieve consistent main roster prominence. His unique style and presence had the potential to influence WWE storylines and matches significantly, especially on major platforms like WrestleMania.
Logan Paul’s role in advocating for Kross at WrestleMania 41 highlights unexpected dynamics within the wrestling world, where alliances and support can influence booking decisions. As Kross explores opportunities beyond WWE, his future path remains uncertain but closely watched by fans and insiders alike.
