WWE Superstar Karrion Kross announced that his WWE contract has ended, revealing that he and his wife, Scarlett, are parting ways with the company. Sharing the update on his YouTube channel in a video titled “My WWE Contract Ends Today,” Kross reflected on a meaningful exchange with fellow WWE talent Ron Killings, known as R-Truth, during a flight from Saudi Arabia.
R-Truth’s Meaningful Words Leave Lasting Impact on Kross
During the flight, R-Truth invited Kross for a private conversation that left a lasting impression. Kross recalled,
“I remember a conversation Truth had with me on a flight back from Saudi. He pulled me aside, and a lot was said. I don’t want to be the one to say all of it because Truth said it to me privately, he didn’t say it publicly.”
Kross shared that among the things Truth told him was a message focused on recognition beyond championships.
“But there was one thing he said to me that I don’t think he would mind me sharing, and I will never forget it. He said, You know, you haven’t won any titles on the main roster, but the one title you have right now,”
Kross explained.
“The one you will have for the rest of your life as a moment in time, is the title the people gave you when they chose you. And that’s f**king real.”
The Significance of Fan Recognition in Wrestlers’ Careers
This interaction highlights the importance of the connection wrestlers build with their audience, which can endure beyond in-ring accolades or official titles. Kross’s reflection on R-Truth’s words underscores how fan support remains a vital aspect of a wrestler’s legacy, especially at transitional moments like contract conclusions.
As Karrion Kross moves forward from WWE, this message may serve as a powerful reminder of his career’s impact and influence outside formal achievements.
