The attack, which happened inside the Elimination Chamber, involved a second masked person entering the ring and striking Paul with a Curb Stomp, enabling Cody Rhodes to secure a victory by pinning him.

The masked attacker was later revealed to be Seth Rollins, who had returned unexpectedly. Despite the identity disclosure, Paul expressed significant frustration at how easily the masked figures have managed to bypass WWE security measures. He pointed out the inconsistency between how security treats fans and those wearing masks during events.
It just doesn’t make sense to me, because if there’s a fan in the audience and they storm the stage or the ring, they’re going to get stopped by security. But if you have a mask on, you’re free to do whatever you want!
