Released Star Slams WWE for Ignoring Roman Reigns Injury Past

Published:

Roman Reigns opened the latest episode of WWE RAW, but he was quickly interrupted by Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman. Heyman boasted about Reed’s recent assault at Clash in Paris that left Reigns being stretchered out of the arena. He taunted Reigns by urging him to acknowledge Bronson Reed as The Tribal Thief, mocking Reigns’ Tribal Chief persona. Heyman escalated the tension by referencing The Wild Samoans and questioned how they would react to seeing a leading member of the Anoa’i Family in such a vulnerable position.

This confrontation led Paul Heyman to announce a match between Bronson Reed and Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel, with a stipulation making it an Australian Street Fight. Reigns accepted the challenge immediately, sparking a physical brawl between the two.

Braun Strowman Responds to Heyman’s Comments During WWE RAW

Paul Heyman’s claim that Bronson Reed was the first wrestler to put Roman Reigns in the hospital resonated with former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman. Strowman recalled his history with Reigns, including brutal attacks dating back to 2015 and intense Universal Championship matches. Notably, on a WWE RAW episode years ago, Strowman viciously assaulted Reigns, leaving him on a stretcher, ready for ambulance transport to the hospital. The moment peaked when Strowman flipped the ambulance itself before paramedics could leave.

Following Heyman’s remarks, Strowman addressed the omission of his attack on social media, expressing frustration that his role in sending Reigns to the hospital in 2017 was completely ignored.

Implications for Other Wrestlers and Upcoming WWE Crown Jewel Matchups

With Bronson Reed officially booked for the Australian Street Fight against Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel, Bron Breakker is left without a rival for the event. Meanwhile, Seth Rollins, the leader of their faction, is set to battle his longtime foe Cody Rhodes for the Crown Jewel Championship. This arrangement shifts focus within the WWE roster and storylines, anticipating intense clashes at the Premium Live Event.
