WWE superstar Seth Rollins has shared new information about his recovery from a shoulder injury he suffered at Crown Jewel 2025. The former world heavyweight champion recently detailed his rehabilitation progress after undergoing surgery, offering insight into when fans might expect his return to the ring. While he remains hopeful about his overall physical improvement, Rollins emphasized that the recovery process is still ongoing.
Details on Rollins’ Physical Condition and Daily Abilities
Rollins revealed that his shoulder surgery took place nearly three months ago, and since then, he has made noticeable progress. He described how he is now able to perform many everyday tasks that had been difficult shortly after the operation.
“It’s coming along. I had surgery about almost three months ago now. So, I can do most normal things like wash my hair and scratch my armpit and all those things. So, it’s good,” Rollins stated during his recent interview with Complex News. “I still got time. I don’t know exactly when we’re going to come back, but I’m making progress in the right direction,” he explained. (23:07 – 23:29)
Support System Aiding Rollins Through Recovery
Although Rollins acknowledged that it will still be some time before he returns to active wrestling, he remains optimistic about the direction of his healing. His rehabilitation has been greatly helped by the encouragement and assistance of his wife, Becky Lynch, who recently became the Women’s Intercontinental Champion. Lynch has helped him manage his injury, especially during the period when Rollins had to wear an arm sling.
Previous Injury Incident and Future Expectations
This shoulder injury is not Rollins’ only recent physical setback. In July 2025 during Saturday Night’s Main Event, Rollins appeared to injure his knee while executing a moonsault off the ropes against LA Knight. However, it was later confirmed that the knee issue was part of a storyline, as Rollins returned at SummerSlam Night 1 to cash in his Money in the Bank contract.
His medical team and trainers continue to carefully track his recovery, aiming for a potential comeback in time for the WrestleMania season in April 2026. Progress updates indicate that Rollins remains committed to returning at peak form.
