Stephanie Vaquer has put to rest rumors about her health in the lead-up to her scheduled bout against IYO SKY for the vacant WWE Women’s World Championship at next Saturday’s Wrestlepalooza event. Speaking with Adrian Hernandez in Las Vegas ahead of Friday’s WWE special announcement, Vaquer confirmed she is not injured and ready to compete on Raw, NXT, and at Wrestlepalooza.
Clarification After Contract Signing Cancellation
The anticipated contract signing between Vaquer and SKY, meant to happen on Monday, was unexpectedly canceled by WWE General Manager Adam Pearce. Pearce noted that something was preventing Vaquer from appearing on Raw, though he expressed no doubt the title match would proceed as planned. Nikki Bella later interrupted the discussion seeking updates on Vaquer’s condition, adding to the confusion surrounding the situation.
Conflicting Reports from Wrestling Analysts
Dave Meltzer mentioned on Wrestling Observer Radio that Vaquer might have been managing a minor injury, but Bryan Alvarez disagreed, expressing skepticism about any physical issues. With Vaquer scheduled to appear on Tuesday’s WWE NXT television show, fans and analysts remain uncertain about what kept her from the Monday Raw event.
Vaquer Confirms Readiness and Upcoming Appearances
In her own words addressing the rumors, Stephanie Vaquer stated,
“No, I saw social media. Sometimes, many things are not real. There’s no injuries. I’m ready for Raw next Monday, so no. No injury,”

Vaquer will also take part in WWE’s special announcement event in Las Vegas this Friday, reinforcing her presence leading into one of the year’s notable wrestling shows.
