WWE NXT Championship Ladder Match Set for Next Week

The WWE NXT Championship Ladder match scheduled for next week has been officially finalized. The contest will determine a new champion following Oba Femi’s recent decision to vacate the title earlier this month.

Tuesday night’s WWE NXT episode featured the final qualifiers earning their places in the match. Keanu Carver and Dion Lennox secured their spots by defeating Andre Chase and Myles Borne, respectively. Jackson Drake also qualified after his scheduled match against Joe Hendry was cancelled due to an attack on Hendry. Ava, who arranged Drake’s inclusion, denied her involvement with the assault, but stated Hendry would participate if medically cleared.

Competitors and Match Details

Joining Carver, Lennox, and Drake are Ricky Saints, Shiloh Hill, and Sean Legacy. Hill and Legacy qualified during the previous week’s episode, while Saints was automatically entered without needing to compete in qualifiers. The potential addition of Hendry keeps the number of participants at either seven or eight, depending on his health status.

Additional Announcements for Next Week’s Show

In other developments, Tony D’Angelo is scheduled to make an appearance. After being freed from prison by Ava following his attacks last week, D’Angelo plans to clarify his motivations in the upcoming episode. The show will be broadcast live from the WWE Performance Center on The CW, with international viewers able to watch on Netflix.
