Zoey Stark injury update WWE: Star reveals harsh reality after ACL tear, vows to push through the pain

Published:

Zoey Stark has shared the latest on her condition following a serious injury sustained during a WWE match. The incident occurred on May 19 during an episode of RAW, where Stark attempted a missile dropkick against Kairi Sane and Rhea Ripley but landed awkwardly, resulting in a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus. Doctors have confirmed she will miss the remainder of 2025 with a recovery period expected to last at least eight months before she can return to wrestling.

The WWE star took to Instagram to connect with her fans, revealing the physical and emotional toll the injury has taken. She described ongoing struggles with her knee’s limited range of motion, which adds to her frustrations as she fights through this challenging time.

“It’s been a little bit since I posted, so I thought I would get on here and give you guys an update. And to be completely honest, it’s been both mentally and physically exhausting and frustrating, and I’m in a spot right now with my knee where it’s not wanting to bend to give me the full range of motion that I am looking for. As much as that sucks, it’s okay. You know, I will push through this. I will find a way around it. I will get to where I need to get, but boy, is it frustrating,” Stark said.

Encouraging signs and personal joys during rehabilitation

Despite the setbacks, Stark shared some positive news that lifts her spirits and those of her supporters. She confirmed that she has made progress with mobility, stating that she is walking again and using a stationary bike as part of her rehabilitation. These small victories mark important milestones on her road to recovery.

Additionally, Stark introduced her fans to her new puppy, Mad Max, expressing how much joy her pets bring her during difficult moments. She talked about the happiness she feels watching her puppy along with her other animals, Sly the cat and Kai, interact and play together, calling that the highlight of her day and a much-needed source of comfort.

“But there’s always a silver lining in a dark cloud, right? So there are a couple of things that I’m happy for. I’m walking again and riding a stationary bike. I got a new puppy, Mad Max, love that little guy. Seeing all my animals, Sly the cat, Kai, and Max, all playing together, that lights my heart up. That’s the joy of my day. But we’ll get through this, you know? So till next time, guys. Sniper, out.”

The challenge ahead and determination to return

Zoey Stark’s commitment to overcoming her injury reflects her resilience and passion for wrestling. While the physical recovery will be demanding, her mental strength remains intact, evidenced by her vow to push through the pain and frustration. Her update not only informs WWE fans of her condition but also underlines her resolve to come back stronger.

This injury update serves as a reminder of the risks athletes face in professional wrestling and the determination required to recover from major setbacks. Fans and the wrestling community alike will be watching closely as Stark progresses through her rehabilitation, hoping for her swift and successful return to the ring.
