Booker T Offers to Mentor Jade Cargill, WWE Star in Progress

Published:

Veteran WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has offered to mentor Jade Cargill, emphasizing that she remains a developing talent needing refinement as part of her Jade Cargill WWE mentorship. This offer comes amid Cargill’s ongoing efforts to carve out a prominent role in WWE after making a notable return in 2025.

Jade Cargill reemerged on WWE programming at The Road To WrestleMania 41, reigniting a fierce rivalry with Naomi, a member of the Anoa’i wrestling family. Their feud stemmed from an incident in November of the previous year, when Naomi left Cargill battered on the windshield of a car. Cargill secured two significant wins over Naomi, first at WrestleMania 41 and then during the Evolution 2 event, the latter marking the peak of their confrontation.

Beyond her rivalry with Naomi, Cargill earned the Queen of the Ring title in 2025, granting her a chance to challenge Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship. Although Cargill contested the title at SummerSlam, she was unable to secure the victory. She received a second opportunity on the September 12 episode of SmackDown, but interference from Nia Jax prevented her from capturing the championship once again.

Booker T Describes Jade Cargill as Moldable Talent and Extends Mentorship Offer

During an episode of The Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T expressed strong confidence in Jade Cargill’s potential, while acknowledging she is still a “raw piece of clay.” He underscored that she possesses the natural ability to thrive in WWE but requires guidance to fully develop her skills and match presence. Booker T’s mentorship offer reflects his belief that he can help Cargill sharpen her performance and reach new heights in her wrestling career.

Cargill signed with WWE in late 2023 and spent several months training at the WWE Performance Center before debuting publicly at the Royal Rumble in early 2024. She had a successful run in tag team competition alongside Bianca Belair, but critics pointed out inconsistencies in her in-ring execution during that period. Booker T believes his expertise could help her overcome these growing pains and ensure she fulfills her potential inside the squared circle.

Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill definitely took it to another level. There are a couple of things in that match that, personally, I wish I could–I wish I had a chance to work with Jade Cargill. A chance to fine-tune some things with her to really put her on the right path, going out there and doing what I know she wants to do. And that is to take over the WWE’s women’s division and to win the World Championship,” Booker said.

Booker T also invited Cargill personally to join his wrestling academy, Reality of Wrestling, as a place to refine her technique and grow professionally.

Jade Cargill is still a work in progress, a raw piece of clay, that is being molded into something special. Personally, I’d love to be that sculptor as far as getting her on the right track. I hope she hears this message. Jade, give me a call,

Ongoing Rivalries and Future Prospects for Jade Cargill

The rivalry between Jade Cargill and Tiffany Stratton remains unresolved, with both competitors continuing to vie for supremacy in the WWE Women’s Division. Cargill’s setbacks against Stratton signal that her journey to the top is still a work in progress, but her recent bouts indicate she is laying groundwork for a significant future presence among WWE’s top female stars.

As The Storm builds momentum, the mentorship from Booker T could represent a crucial turning point, enabling her to polish her skills and potentially capture the WWE Women’s Championship one day. The combination of Cargill’s raw talent and Booker T’s experience may forge a new contender capable of leading WWE’s women’s roster into its next chapter.
