The date for “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire” has changed. Initially scheduled for March 14, 2024, it is now set for April 12 of the same year. Warner Bros. still needs to alter its December 2023 plans. “Wonka” on December 15, “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” on December 20, and “The Color Purple” on December 25.

IMAX CEO Richard Gelfond dismissed rumors of a “Dune: Part Two” delay for four weeks. He stated that on November 3, 2023, “I’m pretty sure it won’t change.” Timothée Chalamet stars as Paul Atreides in the movie adaptation of Frank Herbert’s Dune.

Chalamet, Zendaya, Ferguson, Bardem, and the rest of the 2021 cast are back on set. The buzz about Zendaya’s acting grew after the film’s impressive trailer at CinemaCon. In response to rumors, she said, “She’s not just in dreams this time,” referencing her limited appearance in the first movie despite heavy promotion.

Villeneuve’s second movie plan is ambitious. He calls it an “epic war movie” more complex than its predecessor. The plot summary is clear. Dune: Part Two follows Paul Atreides as he teams up with Chani and the Fremen to seek revenge for his family’s murder.
